abstract |
The title of the present invention is a coating for ultraviolet light sterilization. A germicidal coating composition that can be used in combination with ultraviolet light includes a polyurethane component and nanoparticles having an average particle size of from about 30 nm to about 400 nm. The nanoparticles absorb light having wavelengths from about 100 nm to about 290 nm and are present in an amount less than about 25 weight percent of the total solids in the coating composition. |
