abstract The invention discloses a drosophila climbing detection and tracking method based on background subtraction, frame difference and Meanshift algorithm, wherein the related drosophila climbing detection method based on background subtraction and frame difference comprises the following steps: s1, acquiring a video sequence image of drosophila climbing, and performing background modeling according to the acquired video sequence image to obtain a background model; s2, randomly selecting two frames of images from the obtained video sequence images, and recording the two frames of images as an ith frame of image and an (i +1) th frame of image; s3, respectively calculating the frame difference between the ith frame image and the (i +1) th frame image and the background frame to obtain the frame difference result of two continuous frames; s4, performing AND operation on the obtained frame difference results of two continuous frames to obtain a target region climbed by the drosophila; and S5, selecting and correcting the obtained target area to obtain a target area with complete climbing of the fruit flies. The fruit fly climbing detection and tracking method based on background subtraction, frame difference and Meanshift vector can scientifically, accurately and efficiently analyze the fruit fly climbing experiment.
