The invention relates to the technical field of cigarette filter rod production, in particular to a cordyceps-flavored flavor for popping beads and its application in cigarettes; the cordyceps-flavor flavoring for popping beads is composed of the following components by mass percentage: 0.20~0.80%, furfuryl alcohol 0.01~0.03%, angelica lactone 0.01~0.03%, benzyl alcohol 0.05~0.10%, geraniol 0.05~0.10%, nerol 0.05~0.10%, clove oil 0.05~0.10%, 10.0-15.0% of tincture of unihuo, and 83.74-89.58% of caprylic glyceride; the invention pioneered the use of cordyceps for the preparation of popping beads essence and popping beads, and applied to cigarettes.
