abstract The invention relates to the technical field of cigarette filter rod production, in particular to a cordyceps-flavored flavor for popping beads and its application in cigarettes; the cordyceps-flavor flavoring for popping beads is composed of the following components by mass percentage: 0.20~0.80%, furfuryl alcohol 0.01~0.03%, angelica lactone 0.01~0.03%, benzyl alcohol 0.05~0.10%, geraniol 0.05~0.10%, nerol 0.05~0.10%, clove oil 0.05~0.10%, 10.0-15.0% of tincture of unihuo, and 83.74-89.58% of caprylic glyceride; the invention pioneered the use of cordyceps for the preparation of popping beads essence and popping beads, and applied to cigarettes. The perceptibility of the style characteristics of cigarettes has jumped to a new level; the explosive beads can improve and enrich the aroma of cigarettes, significantly enhance the moist feeling of cigarettes, and reduce dryness.
