abstract The invention provides down feather containing wormwood, wherein the content of wormwood extract in the down feather is 1.3-1.8 wt%; the invention also provides a preparation method of the down feather containing the wormwood, which comprises the steps of down feather pretreatment, plasma gas treatment, grafting modification and preparation of the down feather containing the wormwood; the graft modification comprises first-stage graft modification and second-stage graft modification. The invention adopts the specific methods of pretreatment, plasma gas treatment and two-stage grafting modification, can improve the filling power of the down feather, improve the strength of the down feather, further reduce the loss and improve the heat preservation rate of the down feather. The down feather containing the wormwood prepared by the invention has the filling power of 18-18.5 cm; the down feather loss rate is 1.5-1.7%; under the same condition, the heat preservation rate of the raw material down feather is detected, and the heat preservation rate of the down feather containing the wormwood is improved by 2-4% compared with that of the raw material down feather.
