titleOfInvention | Malus pear transporter gene PbrTDT1 and application thereof |
abstract | The invention discloses a pear malic acid transporter gene PbrTDT1 and application thereof, belonging to the technical field of plant genetic engineering. The invention clones a new malic acid transport protein gene PbrTDT1 from the fruit of Dangshan pear, the nucleotide sequence of which is shown as SEQ ID NO. 1 in the sequence table, and the coded amino acid sequence of which is shown as SEQ ID NO. 2 in the sequence table. The gene is transformed into tomato through agrobacterium-mediated genetic transformation to obtain transgenic plants, and the malic acid content in the fruits of the transgenic tomato is obviously increased through biological function verification, which shows that the cloned PbrTDT1 gene has the function of regulating the malic acid content in the fruit pulp. The pear TDT transport protein gene PbrTDT1 can be applied to fruit acidity character improvement or construction of high-acidity transgenic fruits, and provides a new gene resource for molecular breeding for improving the quality of plant fruits. |
