Multimeric form of H-NOX protein |
abstract |
The present invention provides multimeric forms of H-NOX proteins, which are polymeric H-NOX proteins that transport oxygen with longer circulatory half-lives than monomeric H-NOX proteins. The poly-H-NOX protein is exuded into and preferentially accumulated in tumor tissue for sustained oxygen delivery. The present invention also provides the application of H-NOX protein as a radiosensitizer for brain cancer treatment. |
