The expression degree of CRTL1 gene is used to control the quality of cultured chondrocytes, so as to ensure that the chondrocytes expanded and cultured in vitro can form healthy cartilage in vivo after transplantation. The cartilage screened by the method of the invention has good cartilage tissue formation ability and repair ability in vivo. The method of the invention is convenient and quick, and lays a foundation for improving the quality of cartilage culture.
