| abstract | A method for making an article, comprising obtaining a part support assembly having at least a first part on a top surface of a planar support member; and placing a frame on or around the top surface of the planar support member such that the frame around the first part. The method may also include depositing a second part material into the frame cavity and onto the part support assembly, and allowing the second part material to harden to form a second part secured to the top surface of the first part and the planar support member. The method may include removing the frame from the unfinished article, and removing the planar support member from the first and second parts to expose the bottom surface of the article. |
