abstract Integrated optical circuits for optical neural networks are provided. The integrated optical circuit is configured to process a phase-encoded optical input signal and provide a phase-encoded output signal based on the phase-encoded optical input signal. The phase-encoded output signal simulates synaptic function relative to the phase-encoded optical input signal. A related method and related design structure are also provided.
