titleOfInvention Absorbent bodies for absorbent articles
abstract An absorbent body for an absorbent article can have improved vertical wicking and improved liquid distribution. The absorbent body may have at least a first absorbent layer and a second absorbent layer. The absorbent body may also have at least three pairs of compression points. The first pair of compression points may be separated from the second pair of compression points by a first distance in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body. The third pair of compression points may be spaced a second distance from the first pair of compression points in the transverse direction of the absorbent article. The second distance may be greater than the first distance.
