The present disclosure provides a composite material of a metal zinc foil and a zinc-philic crystal nucleus, and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation of the composite material includes configuring a metal salt solution as a deposition solution, and then placing the metal zinc foil in the deposition solution, and obtaining by in-situ chemical deposition. The volume of the zinc-philic nuclei is smaller, and the thin nuclei can be uniformly covered on the surface of the zinc foil.
