The method further includes two schemes of producing medium-chain alcohol in a single-phase reactor and a two-phase reactor; in this method, the fermentation system formed by the anaerobic medium-chain alcohol-producing microorganisms and the exogenous medium can accelerate the absorption of the syngas by the microorganisms and conversion process to produce medium-chain alcohol; the exogenous medium in the fermentation system is not easy to be deactivated in the reaction system, and it is not easy to cause the death of anaerobic microorganisms, and the system can run stably for 2-36 months.
