abstract The invention provides a method for continuously and controllably preparing amphiphilic snowman-shaped microparticles. Disperse phase and continuous phase fluid are respectively injected into the inlet pipe and collecting pipe of a single-stage capillary microfluidic device to form monodisperse droplets. During the movement of the droplet in the collection tube to the downstream outlet, the co-solvent in the droplet gradually diffuses into the continuous phase fluid, causing phase separation inside the droplet to form an oil-in-water-oil-in-oil double emulsion. With further diffusion, the intermediate water phase of the double emulsion gradually infiltrates the interface of the inner oil core of the oil-in-water double emulsion to form a snowman-shaped droplet template; The template is cured to obtain amphiphilic snowman-shaped microparticles with hydrophilic gel on one side and hydrophobic polymer on the other side. The method realizes the continuous and controllable preparation of amphiphilic snowman-shaped microparticles, and can prepare amphiphilic snowman-shaped microparticles with diverse functions.
