abstract The invention discloses a method for directionally dissolving calcite synthesized by a steam diffusion method by using a zinc salt solution. The glass substrate was placed flat in a glass petri dish containing a calcium chloride solution, and the dish was then placed in a closed desiccator containing a vial of ammonium carbonate. After the glass substrate was taken out and washed with ultrapure water repeatedly and dried at room temperature, rhombohedral calcite having a size of 15 μm was obtained on the surface of the glass substrate. Finally, the glass substrate with rhombohedral calcite grown on the surface was transferred to a wash-free bottle containing 3mL of a 1% solution of formamide and zinc salts. After slowly dissolving at 65 ℃ for 3-6h under atmospheric conditions, the glass substrate was taken out and rinsed thoroughly with ultrapure water and ethanol, and dried at room temperature for later testing. The invention provides a method for synthesizing high-purity rhombohedral calcite by vapor diffusion, the obtained rhombohedral calcite crystals have good dispersibility, and a zinc salt solution is used for directionally dissolving the calcite to obtain a micron pyramid array structure.
