abstract |
A method of manufacturing a three-dimensional object from a photopolymerizable resin comprising the steps of: (a) producing an object bonded to a carrier plate by photopolymerization of the resin in a bottom-up stereolithography process (eg, continuous liquid interface production) (i) the object comprises a carrier plate adhesive portion, a main body portion and a circumferential boundary portion, the peripheral boundary portion being included in the carrier plate adhesive portion and optionally extending to at least a portion of the main body portion in one part; (ii) the stereolithography method comprises over-exposing the border portion with light (as compared to the exposure of the adhesive portion or the body portion); (b) optionally cleaning the object; and then (c) optionally baking the object to produce a further cured three-dimensional object. |
