The present application belongs to the technical field of small-molecule photothermal materials, and in particular relates to a thiazole orange derivative and its preparation and application. The application provides a thiazole orange derivative with the structure of formula I; wherein, n=1, 2 or 3; X is I, Br or Cl; R 1 is a fatty amide group, a fatty carboxyl group or a fatty alkyl group; R 2 is triphenylphosphine or triphenylamine.
