abstract | The present invention provides a method for preparing a positive electrode active material for a secondary battery, the method comprising the steps of: 1) forming a positive electrode active material precursor particle while adding a reaction solution to a batch reactor, the reaction solution comprising a transition metal-containing solution containing transition metal cations, an alkaline aqueous solution and an ammonium ion-containing solution; 2) when the reactor is full, a part of the reaction slurry in the reactor is discharged to introduce the part of the reaction slurry into hydraulic 3) separating the reaction slurry introduced into the hydrocyclone by centrifugal force into a supernatant and a concentrated reaction slurry containing positive electrode active material precursor particles; and 4) discharging the supernatant to the outside , and the concentrated reaction slurry is reintroduced into the reactor to re-grow the positive electrode active material precursor particles. |
