abstract The present invention provides an electrode layer including a solid solution formed of a composite oxide containing tungsten, molybdenum, and oxygen as constituent elements. When the total of tungsten, molybdenum and oxygen is 100 at%, it is preferable that tungsten is 1 at% or more and 40 at% or less, molybdenum is 1 at% or more and 40 at% or less, and the remainder is oxygen. The composite oxide is preferably a solid solution. In addition, in the solid solution, it is preferable that the bond between tungsten and oxygen or the bond between molybdenum and oxygen includes three types of tungsten-oxygen-tungsten, molybdenum-oxygen-molybdenum, and tungsten-oxygen-molybdenum.
