Disclosed are a method of preparing a catalyst having a protective layer of a conductive oxide and a catalyst prepared by the method. The method may include: a carbon support loaded with a metal catalyst is provided (e.g., supplied) to a fluidized bed reactor, and a conductive oxide protective layer is formed using Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). In particular, the atomic layer deposition may include: the method includes supplying a conductive oxide precursor to the fluidized bed reactor, performing a first purge by supplying an inert gas to the fluidized bed reactor, converting the conductive oxide precursor to a conductive oxide by supplying a reactive gas to the fluidized bed reactor, and performing a second purge by supplying an inert gas to the fluidized bed reactor. |
