The invention belongs to the field of catalysts, and relates to a silver-gold bimetallic catalyst, a preparation method and application thereof, and a preparation method of alkylene oxide. The preparation method includes a sequential optional silver loading step and a gold loading step. The silver-gold bimetallic catalyst prepared according to the method of the present invention can catalyze the oxidation of olefins to produce alkylene oxides under mild conditions with oxygen as an oxidant, and shows good activity and selectivity. |
