titleOfInvention Aperture deflection calibration circuit and method of pipeline ADC
abstract The invention provides an aperture deflection calibration circuit and method of a pipeline ADC, comprising the following steps: the sequentially cascaded multistage pipeline ADC comprises a sub analog-digital conversion unit which performs quantization processing on an input signal and outputs a digital bit, and a gain analog-digital conversion unit which subtracts the digital bit and the input signal to obtain a residual error and amplifies the residual error; the aperture deflection detection calibration module is used for counting overflow of output residual errors of the first-stage pipeline ADC based on digital bits output by the pipeline ADCs of all stages and generating corresponding feedback compensation values; and a delay module adjusting a delay time of the sampling clock signal based on the feedback compensation value to compensate for the aperture error by controlling a phase of the sampling clock. The method is based on the aperture error of digital detection and combined with the aperture error of analog delay compensation, and is suitable for high-speed sampling front-end design of various frameworks; and only the controllable delay module is introduced into the analog part, so that the method has the advantages of simple design method, low implementation cost and high stability.
