abstract A method for preparing a composite material using Manila grass as a carbon source, comprising: S1, drying the Manila grass, cutting into sections, and carbonizing in a vacuum environment to obtain a porous carbon material; S2, immersing the porous carbon material in cobalt Ultrasonic treatment is performed in the source solution to infiltrate each other to obtain a mixed solution; wherein, the cobalt source solution is an aqueous solution containing a cobalt compound, and the cobalt compound is selected from one of cobalt nitrate, cobalt chloride or cobalt oxalate or S3. Transfer the mixed solution to an autoclave for solvothermal reaction, and the reaction product is filtered, washed, dried, and cooled to obtain a composite material. The present invention also relates to the composite material prepared by the above method and using Manila grass as a carbon source and its application in supercapacitors. The composite material supported by Manila grass as the carbon base provided by the invention has excellent electrochemical performance, and has great application prospects in energy storage, conversion, catalyst and other related application fields.
