The strain construction method of the invention relates to the simultaneous overexpression of delta 6 fatty acid desaturase (Delt-6) and cellulase (CBH 2) genes in the lipid-producing filamentous fungus Mucor circinelloides. The obtained genetic engineering bacteria can efficiently synthesize the gamma-linolenic acid by utilizing the cellulose, and provide guidance for popularizing mucor circinelloides and utilizing a cellulose substrate to industrially produce the gamma-linolenic acid.
