titleOfInvention Percutaneous clips for repairing heart valves
abstract This application relates to percutaneous clips for repairing heart valves. The leaflet clip has an elongate member including a proximal end portion and a distal end portion, and first and second clamp arms movable between an open position and a closed position. The clamp arms include respective proximal portions coupled to the proximal portion of the elongated member and respective distal portions extending distally and radially outward relative to the elongated member. The leaflet clamp further includes a tubular member coaxially disposed about the elongated member. Axial movement of the tubular member relative to the elongate member or axial movement of the elongate member relative to the tubular member causes corresponding movement of the clamp arms between the open position and the closed position.
