The present invention relates to a hair implant comprising: (a) a hair bundle anchor comprising: an anchor body; at least one hair cavity disposed within the anchor body; and at least one channel through the anchor body, wherein the channel is free of hair; and (b) at least one tress, a portion of which is retained in at least one of the tress hair cavities; wherein the channel anchors the hair implant to the implant receptor by being configured to receive and retain Collagen junctions on top to support the growth of collagen junctions after subcutaneous implantation. Also disclosed is a hair implant comprising anchors having first and second anchor bodies, and at least one bridge connecting the anchor bodies and bridging at least one void between the anchor bodies, wherein the bridge supports and maintains collagen junction growth . Also disclosed are one-piece implants, anchors, hair restorations, and methods of manufacture. |
