abstract The invention discloses a flame-retardant epoxy resin curing agent, flame-retardant epoxy resin containing the curing agent and a method for preparing the curing agent, and belongs to the field of polymer synthesis and resin preparation. The method comprises the following steps: preparing a multifunctional phosphorus-containing hydroxyl compound; carboxylation of a multifunctional phosphorus-containing hydroxyl compound; and (3) configuring flame-retardant epoxy resin. The hydroxyl-terminated phosphotriester is synthesized through phosphotriester transesterification, and then the ring opening of the cyclic anhydride substances is realized through the terminated hydroxyl, so that the carboxylation of the terminal hydroxyl of the phosphotriester is realized, and the hydroxyl-terminated phosphotriester is finally used for curing the epoxy resin. The flame-retardant curing agent prepared by the invention has the advantages of simple and mild preparation conditions, high phosphorus content, small addition amount, low cost of the prepared epoxy resin and high flame-retardant grade.
