abstract | The invention discloses a chrome leather scrap-containing waterborne polyurethane composite material and a preparation method thereof, wherein the composite material comprises a substrate and a composite material coating coated on the substrate; the composite material coating comprises an aqueous polyurethane foaming layer and a polyurethane surface layer; the polyurethane surface layer is arranged on the waterborne polyurethane foaming layer; the waterborne polyurethane foaming layer comprises a supporting material, the supporting material is chrome-containing leather scrap fibers, the length of the chrome-containing leather scrap fibers is larger than or equal to the thickness of the waterborne polyurethane foaming layer, and the chrome-containing leather scrap fibers longitudinally penetrate through the waterborne polyurethane foaming layer. Compared with the existing polyurethane microfiber leather, the composite material has the advantages that the tensile strength and the water vapor permeability are greatly improved, and the performances of other aspects can meet the practical requirements; meanwhile, the chromium-containing leather scrap fiber with a large mass fraction is used, the addition amount of the leather scrap in the foaming coating can reach more than 20%, and the method is greatly helpful for solving the problem of the existing huge amount of leather waste. |
