abstract | The invention provides a calcium sulfate whisker-nano zinc oxide composite material and a preparation method and application thereof. Dissolving calcium hydroxide in water to prepare calcium hydroxide slurry, and adding a dispersing agent and a crystal growth substance; dissolving zinc sulfate in water to prepare a zinc sulfate solution, and adding the zinc sulfate solution into calcium hydroxide slurry to obtain mixed slurry of calcium sulfate whiskers and zinc hydroxide; and (2) putting zinc oxide, fatty acid, a vulcanization accelerator and water into a ball mill for grinding, allowing partial zinc oxide to perform a complexing reaction to form mixed slurry containing a zinc complex, then adding the mixed slurry into the mixed slurry of the calcium sulfate whisker and the zinc hydroxide, and fully mixing to obtain the calcium sulfate whisker-nano zinc oxide composite material. The zinc organic complex modifies the surface of the composite material, improves the dispersion performance and the vulcanization reaction speed of the composite material in rubber, makes up for the influence of low zinc content on the performance of a vulcanization activator, and realizes the reinforcing and toughening effects of the calcium sulfate whisker on the rubber while reducing the use of zinc oxide in the rubber formula. |
