The invention further discloses the protein-related biological material and application. The IbEGF protein and the coding gene thereof are found, the coding gene of the IbEGF protein is introduced into the sweet potatoes to obtain transgenic sweet potato plants which over-express the IbEGF, the transgenic plants are subjected to drought stress treatment, the drought resistance of transgenic lines is enhanced, and the IbEGF protein and the coding gene thereof have important application value in improving plant drought resistance research. |
