abstract |
The present disclosure relates to reinforced covers for electronic devices. Methods for chemically strengthening covers for electronic devices are disclosed. These methods include removing material from the mounting surface of the cover to counteract warpage of the mounting surface due to ion exchange. The chemically strengthened cover has high flexural strength and allows a strong seal to be formed between the cover and housing parts. |
