The present invention relates to a method for producing fibrous webs, such as webs of paper, board, tissues and the like. The method comprises obtaining at least one fiber suspension of lignocellulosic and/or cellulosic fibers, and feeding the fiber suspension to an intermediate residence entity, such as a pulper, a pulp storage tower or a crushing tower. After a residence time of at least 2 hours in the intermediate residence body, the fibrous suspension containing bacterial endospores is expelled from the intermediate residence body through the outlet, and after a time delay, the fibrous suspension is formed into a fibrous web. Addition to the fiber suspension comprising primary or secondary ammonium head groups and linear unsubstituted The C12-alkyl-tailed germination surfactant sensitizes bacterial endospores. |
