titleOfInvention | Method for rapidly breaking dormancy of osmanthus fragrans seeds |
abstract | The invention belongs to an ornamental gardening seedling raising technology, and particularly relates to a method for quickly releasing dormancy of sweet osmanthus seeds. The method comprises the following steps: harvesting when the osmanthus fragrans fruits turn to blue-violet in late 4-5 ten days, removing pulp, cleaning seeds and airing; selecting large, full and no-pest seeds, soaking in potassium permanganate solution for 30min, pouring out the solution, sealing for 10min, cleaning the seeds, and air drying; rubbing two ends and four sides of the osmanthus fragrans seeds with abrasive paper; soaking the mechanically treated seeds in a mixed solution of gibberellin and lanthanum nitrate; mixing the soaked seeds with wet sand, putting the mixture into a container, covering a preservative film on the surface of the container, pricking holes, and carrying out low-temperature lamination. The method has the advantages of simple and easy operation, low cost and high germination rate, and is suitable for both test requirements and production requirements. |
