abstract The invention relates to a device for measuring rotating speed, in particular to a device for measuring rotating speed by converting rotating speed into pulse counting by utilizing the giant magneto-impedance effect and the magnetoelectric conversion principle of a novel material cobalt-based amorphous wire. The device comprises a cobalt-based amorphous wire coil (1), a multivibrator circuit (2), an amplifier circuit (3), a signal shaping circuit (4), a power supply circuit (5), a micro-processing circuit (6), a liquid crystal display screen (7), a support frame (8) and a rotating speed measuring gear (9). The device is excited by a cobalt-based amorphous wire coil (1), an oscillating periodic sawtooth wave is formed by a multivibrator circuit (2), a signal is amplified by a signal amplification circuit (3) and is changed into a rectangular wave by a shaping circuit (4), the rectangular wave is input into an STM32F407 processor for processing, and finally the rotating speed is displayed on an LCD screen. The invention can improve the accuracy and the sensitivity of the rotating speed measurement, can monitor the rotating speed value in real time, and has high automation degree, small volume and convenient carrying.
