In one aspect, the present invention provides an inhibitor of MASP-2-dependent complement activation in human subjects with graft-versus-host disease and/or diffuse alveolar hemorrhage and/or veno-occlusive disease associated with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation method of action. The method includes the step of administering to a subject in need thereof an inhibitor of MASP-2 in an amount effective to inhibit MASP-2-dependent complement activation. |
