titleOfInvention Hydrogel loaded with plant essential oil and preparation method thereof
abstract The invention discloses a plant essential oil-loaded hydrogel and a preparation method thereof, wherein the hydrogel is prepared from 7-15 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 2-10 parts of polyvinylpyrrolidone, 5-15 parts of sodium methyl silicate, 2-8 parts of sodium pyrophosphate, 1-3 parts of bentonite and 30-60 parts of deionized water in a mass ratio; the microemulsion is oil-in-water type, and comprises 5-15% of plant essential oil, 10-45% of emulsifier, 2-8% of co-emulsifier and the balance of deionized water in percentage by mass; the mass ratio of the polymer aqueous solution to the microemulsion is 6: 1-9: 4. According to the invention, the plant essential oil is filled into the polymer matrix, the hydrogel has water absorption and water retention capabilities, and is incompatible with water and oil, so that the encapsulation efficiency of the essential oil is not high, and the essential oil is prepared into the water-in-oil microemulsion and then mixed with the polymer aqueous solution, so that the utilization rate of the essential oil can be greatly improved.
