abstract | A radical UV curable inkjet ink set comprising: A) a radical UV curable primer comprising: a1) one or more photoinitiators; a2) at least two according to formula ( I) mixture of monomers, wherein n represents an integer 0 or 1, k represents an integer selected from the range of 0-3, and R represents hydrogen or phenyl; a3) 0.0-4.0 wt% of a multifunctional monomer; a4 ) 0.0-2.0 wt% of an organosilane coupling agent; and a5) 0.0-10.0 wt% of an N-vinyllactam monomer; wherein all weight percent wt% is based on the total of the free radical UV-curable primer. and B) one or more free radical UV curable inkjet inks comprising: b1) a colored pigment; b2) one or more photoinitiators; and b3) at least 50.0 wt% of one of or more monoacrylate monomers; wherein all weight percent wt % are based on the total weight of the free radical UV-curable inkjet ink; and wherein the mixture of at least two monomers according to formula (I) comprises 3.0-50.0 wt % of the first monomer (with n=1 and R representing phenyl) and 35.0-90.0 wt % of the second monomer (with n=0 and R representing phenyl).
