abstract | The present application provides a display panel, comprising: a substrate, including a plurality of sub-pixel units arranged in an array, and each sub-pixel unit includes a light-emitting area. The cover plate is arranged opposite to the base plate, and is provided with a support structure and a light-shielding layer. The support structure is located on the side of the cover plate facing the substrate, used to support the substrate and the cover plate, and the orthographic projection area on the substrate does not overlap with the light-emitting area. The light-shielding layer is located on the side of the cover plate facing the substrate, and the orthographic projection area on the substrate overlaps with the area outside the light-emitting area, so that the coating on the substrate and the support structure on the cover plate can be simultaneously produced when the display panel is manufactured. The light shielding layer effectively reduces the time for manufacturing the display panel. At the same time, a larger light-emitting area can be fabricated, and the light emitted by the light-emitting area can be blocked by the support structure and the light-shielding layer, and the size of the light-emitting area can be controlled, thereby improving the resolution of the display panel. |
