The invention belongs to the field of agricultural biotechnology, and particularly relates to a rhodanese EsSTR4A related to plant salt tolerance, antioxidation and antifungal ability, and its encoding gene and application. In the invention, the salt mustard is used as the experimental material to obtain the EsSTR4A protein and its encoding gene, and the encoding gene is introduced into tobacco, which significantly improves the salt resistance, antioxidation and antifungal ability of the plant. The EsSTR4A protein and its encoded gene of the present invention have important theoretical and practical significance for improving and enhancing the stress resistance of transgenic plants including economic crops such as wheat, potato, cucumber and tomato, and accelerating the molecular breeding process of plant stress resistance improvement. |
