abstract |
The present invention provides a zinc secondary battery (particularly a laminated battery thereof) capable of preventing the extension of zinc dendrites with a simple structure that is easy to assemble and easy to collect. The zinc secondary battery of the present invention includes a battery element including: a positive electrode plate including a positive electrode active material layer and a positive electrode current collector; and a negative electrode plate including a zinc-containing negative electrode active material layer and a negative electrode current collector ; a layered double hydroxide (LDH) separator, which covers or wraps the anode active material layer as a whole; and an electrolyte. The positive electrode current collector has a positive electrode collector tab protruding from 1 side of the positive electrode active material layer, and the negative electrode current collector has 1 side from the opposite side of the positive electrode collector tab of the negative electrode active material layer to exceed the LDH separator The negative electrode collector lugs protruding in the manner of the ends of the batteries, thereby enabling the battery element to collect electricity from opposite sides of each other by means of the positive electrode collector lugs and the negative electrode collector lugs. In addition, the outer edges of at least two sides of the LDH separator adjacent to each other (but not including the one side overlapping with the negative electrode collector tab) are closed. |
