abstract |
The present application relates to a display device. The display apparatus and the method of manufacturing the same can greatly minimize damage to the display panel. The display device includes: a first substrate including a display region and a pad region; a polarizing film disposed at an upper surface of the first substrate to overlap the display region; a flexible printed circuit board disposed at a lower surface of the first substrate; a via hole defined through the first substrate at the pad region; and a connection metal located at the through hole. The connection metal includes a connection portion disposed in the through hole and a first protrusion portion protruding with respect to the first substrate, and the polarizing film is spaced apart from the through hole in a plan view. |
