abstract | The application discloses a method for preparing p-xylene and co-producing ethylbenzene and propylene from methanol and/or dimethyl ether and benzene, and belongs to the field of chemical engineering. The method comprises at least the following steps: a) contacting and reacting a raw material containing methanol and/or dimethyl ether and benzene with a catalyst to obtain a mixture; separating from the resulting mixture an ethylene-containing component, a toluene-containing component, and a product containing propylene, para-xylene, and ethylbenzene; b) returning the ethylene containing component, the toluene containing component to step a), reacting with the feed co-feed containing methanol and/or dimethyl ether, benzene. The method according to the present application uses methanol and benzene as raw materials, and can simultaneously perform a plurality of reactions in the same reaction system using only one catalyst, thereby producing paraxylene and ethylbenzene with high yield and co-producing propylene. The method is simple, convenient and flexible to operate, high in implementation feasibility, capable of saving cost and improving production efficiency and material utilization rate, and has important application value. |
