The invention adopts ozone as an oxidant, and a metal oxide loaded by a molecular sieve as a catalyst, and the cyclohexene is oxidized with high selectivity to produce the hexanedial, thereby overcoming the defect that a noble metal complex and sodium periodate are required to be used in the cyclohexene oxidation reaction.
