The present invention relates to a method for reducing or eliminating sensory deterioration of sensory sensitive food products and packaged products thereof packaged in flexible packaging. The present invention also relates to sensory flexible packaging made from polymer films comprising oxidatively stable and non-migrating polysiloxanes as slip additives. The oxidative stability and non-migration of the polysiloxane slip additive provides a sensory flexible package that has no interaction with and is inert to the sensory sensitive food product packaged therein, The foodstuffs are in particular: (1) coffee; (2) beer; (3) water; and (4) wine. |
