abstract The invention relates to a preparation method of a carboxylated multi-walled carbon nanotube/polyester intermediate, which sequentially comprises the following steps: the preparation of the carboxylated multi-wall carbon nano tube, the preparation of DMF solution of the carboxylated multi-wall carbon nano tube and the synthesis of the carboxylated multi-wall carbon nano tube/polyester intermediate have the following special advantages: the multi-walled carbon nano-tube is oxidized by strong protonic acid and potassium permanganate at low temperature by ultrasound to obtain the functionalized MWCNTs with a certain number of carboxyl groups, and the multi-walled carbon nano-tube has high solubility, good dispersion and less agglomeration; adding N-methyldiethanolamine into the solution, and then performing ultrasonic treatment to block the agglomeration of the CNTs to a greater extent; in the esterification process of the intermediate, CNTs with carboxyl can be uniformly grafted into a molecular chain instead of being physically mixed, so that the interiors of MWCNTs/polyester intermediates are combined together in a chemical bond form, and further use of the intermediates is well paved.
