abstract The invention discloses a water-based polyurethane resin, a coating and a preparation method thereof. Saturated polyester polyol, (meth)acrylate, etc. are mixed with polyisocyanate and solvent, and then reacted, and then chain extender, cosolvent, modified extender and the like are added. The chain agent, the free radical initiator, and the vinyl polysiloxane are reacted, neutralized, cooled, dispersed and emulsified by adding water, and then subjected to a chain extension reaction to obtain an aqueous polyurethane resin. The water-based polyurethane resin of the present invention combines the high hardness, high resilience and flexibility of polyurethane with the temperature resistance, high light transmittance, wear resistance, etc. of vinyl polysiloxane, and has high resin grafting rate and good emulsion stability. And the paint film has excellent gloss, hardness and heat resistance.
