abstract The invention relates to a method for identifying the nutritional quality of milk, comprising the following steps: step 1), extracting tryptophan and its metabolites from a milk sample to obtain an extract; step 2), extracting the milk sample described in step 1). Chromatographic separation-mass spectrometry scanning was performed on the substance, and the tryptophan and its metabolites in the milk sample were quantitatively analyzed to determine the limit of quantification and recovery; step 3), according to step 2) described in the milk sample tryptophan and the content data of its metabolites, and analyze the milk sample; the method provided by the invention has good recovery rate, low quantification limit, simple and easy operation, and can quickly detect the content of tryptophan and its metabolites in milk products and nutritional evaluation of milk quality.
