abstract The present invention relates to a method for preparing controllable photoluminescence carbon dots by changing temperature. The method comprises: mixing citric acid monohydrate and urea, pyrolyzing, cooling, adding deionized water to dissolve, centrifuging, filtering and purifying, and freeze-drying to obtain carbon dots. By controlling the pyrolysis temperature and time, the method obtains blue and green water-soluble carbon dot solid powders with different fluorescence emission and high yield, and the components are uniform.
