The invention discloses a water-based epoxy resin curing agent and a preparation method thereof, relates to an epoxy resin curing agent, solves the problems of reducing the moisture absorption of the curing agent and being beneficial to the construction of the curing agent in a humid environment, and has the technical scheme that the curing agent comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 20-30% of benzyl alcohol, 20-25% of isophorone diamine, 12-19% of waterborne epoxy resin, 8-12% of dicumyl peroxide, 1-3% of tetrabutyl ammonium bromide serving as a phase transfer catalyst, 5-10% of alkali liquor, 10-20% of waterborne emulsion and 1-5% of an accelerator. |
