abstract The invention discloses a synthesis method and application of a tetrapyridyl porphyrin zinc-tetracoselenum ruthenium complex. Under the condition of room temperature, coordination reaction is carried out between coordination unsaturated porphyrin zinc-ruthenium complex serving as a raw material and a nitrogen-containing hexadentate ligand in an organic solvent, and the tetrapyridyl porphyrin zinc-icosyl ruthenium complex with higher catalytic activity is obtained through simple post-treatment after the reaction is finished. The zinc tetrapyridylporphyrin-twenty-four-core ruthenium complex can be applied to hydrogen transfer reaction and is a simple, convenient and green method for preparing secondary alcohol.
