The present disclosure describes compositions and methods for increasing enramycin production in genetically engineered strains of Streptomyces fungicides. In particular, the present disclosure describes the genetic manipulation of the regulatory genes orf24 and orf18 associated with the enramycin (enramycin) biosynthetic gene cluster from Streptomyces spp. to produce higher yields of Enramycin protein vector constructs and recombinant strains. |
